Saturday September 28th, My team and I were at the Vallejo Farmers Market. Bigfoot came out to join us! Don't forget to vote!
On Thursday September 26th, I participated in the NAACP Candid with the Candidates. I would like to thank the NAACP Vallejo Branch #1081 and Patricia Hunter the Chapter President for inviting me and organizing this event.
Tuesday September 17th, I spent some time speaking with the Residents of the Cogir Senior Center. Great time getting to speak with them and hear their thoughts on our city.
Monday September 9th, I participated in the "Vote or be Out Voted" forum at the JFK library in Vallejo, for those running for City Council. Thank you to Ms. Askari Sowonde for hosting this platform. It was great hearing from all the candidates.
Saturday August 24th, I had the pleasure of going to the Vallejo International Dinner. We celebrated with our 35th anniversary with our sister city La Spezia, Italy. There was food, clothes and dancing from from the region. Such an amazing experience, and I look forward to more celebrations like this one.
Saturday August 10th, I was able to participate in the 4th annual ACE's resources fair, in support of my Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Caregivers Support Group. Living with a survivor of a very traumatic brain injury and not finding any support for my new role as a caregiver drove me to start this group. Families' lives change forever the day of a TBI injury. Being able to support those that love a survivor of a TBI is a passion and an honor. Educating via speaking about the journey to those in the community is something I will strive to continue to do.
Saturday August 3rd I walked with Relay for Life of Vallejo, Benicia and Napa. They had events going all day in Support of the American Cancer Research Society.
Monday July 22nd, was the Voters Voice of Solano Community Kick off Mix and Mingle. It's the official kick off to the election season. It was hosted at the Sir Winston Business Center in Vallejo. Had a great time meeting so many people in the Community
Saturday July 13th I volunteered to help setup the annual neighborhood garage sale hosted by Rebuilding Together Solano. All proceeds from the sale went to Rebuilding Together Solano a 501c non profit.
Friday 6/28 was Band & Brews at Vallejo's Blue Rock Springs Park. The Neon Playboys played. It was a beautiful night, great music, good friends and people. Looking forward to the next Band & Brews!
Our Second Paint & Sip hosted on June 23rd, was a huge success! Thank you to everyone that came. A Special thank you to Taco Jalisco for providing the food and Cathy for donating her home.
We hosted our first Paint & Sip Fundraiser for my campaign. Everyone had a fantastic time. Thank you Taco Jalisco for the amazing food.
The 75th Annual Solano County Fair Saturday June 15th, 2024. The fair ran June 13-16th and was held at the Solano County Fairgrounds and Event Center.
On Tuesday June 4th, 2024 I was so excited to see the activity as the new Costco is being built in Vallejo. It was a wonderful groundbreaking ceremony. A great project for our city! There will also be new housing and shops as well as the Costco at the Fairview at Northgate. Its all being built by the Lewis Management Group and will be located at Admiral Callahan Lane and Turner Parkway.
We remember. We remember that some gave all and all gave some. Our freedom isn't free. We remembered all those that have given and continue to give so that we can have a free country. On May 27th 2024, the city of Vallejo celebrated Memorial Day at the Mare Island Naval Cemetery.

I had the pleasure of going to the Ribbon Cutting for the new Vallejo Navigation Center today. The Vallejo Navigation Center will be a "one stop shop" that will provide services and shelter critical to helping address homelessness. The center will offer 125 shelter beds for six months (with potential extensions if a housing plan is made) and provide individual case management, connecting people to social and medical services. Participants will also have access to job training and be assisted in becoming prepared to secure and sustain permanent housing. The center will serve approximately 200 people annually.
April 20th, We volunteered at the Vallejo Watershed Alliance Earth Day Cleanup along Blue Rock Springs Creek. It was a great day to meet the community-based volunteer group, hear their concerns for Vallejo, and share in their habitat restoration efforts!

A huge thank you to my team who were out on August 13th, getting our large campaign signs up. While we were posting the signs we took the opportunity to pick up bags of trash to help clean up our streets. Thank you to Solano Tax Watchers for their support and donating the signs.
Tuesday August 6th was National Night Out. Hosted by the Vallejo Police Department in various locations around the city of Vallejo. It was so fun getting out and meeting not only my neighbors but also those that serve our community as first responders
July 25th, I fully qualified for the Ballot this November and took my sworn oath. I'm so excited to be qualified and running for Vallejo City Council District 1. Please remember to get out and Vote this November!
I'm excited to announce that our campaign has received an endorsement from Solano Tax Watchers, an organization whose purpose is to work towards reducing the burden of taxes of Solano County residents and advocating open and efficient government.
I am honored to have their support as I take on this challenge of public safety, financial responsibility and community engagement that is vital for our city to move forward.

Wednesday June 26th, I went to the Elder Abuse Awareness Forum: Addressing Mental Health & Financial Crimes in Fairfield. It was all about community and empowered aging! It was very interesting and had so much information
This past Friday June 21st I had the pleasure of attending the PCC Gala Night. This fantastic night of dinner and dancing was held at the Filipino Community Center in Vallejo. I was truly honored to attend and meet some wonderful people
The Vallejo Juneteenth Festival held June 15th, 2024 at the Barbara Kondylis Waterfront green. Vallejo’s Juneteenth has an emphasis on community health and wellness and also features nonprofit and for-profit organizations and businesses, entrepreneurs, and others who provide information about low or no-cost wellness services and programs, financial planning for banking, retirement and life insurance, homeownership, educational opportunities, job training and employment, small business development, and many other programs and services.
Had a wonderful day at the Vallejo Farmers' Market on June 8th, 2024. So many amazing residents to meet and speak with. We gave out more roses to those we spoke with. Thank you to my team for helping set up this event. Can't wait for the next one and to continue to meet the residents of Vallejo.
Saturday June 1st, 2024 I had a fantastic time at the Pista Sa Nayon festival in Vallejo today. It was so great to see so many people come out to Celebrate and Support the Filipino community in Vallejo. I met so many wonderful people!
Vallejo Farmers Market. It was great getting to meet and talk with the residents of Vallejo. We gave out 6 dozen roses to moms as well.
May 4th and 5th was the 125th Annual Great Vallejo Race and Pancake Breakfast. This 2 day race starts in Berkely, rounds a weather mark near Alcatraz and then finishes at Mare Island in Vallejo. It was a pleasure to help at the Pancake Breakfast hosted by the Vallejo Yacht Club.
Our Meet & Greet for District 1 was held on April 21, 2024 at Hiddenbrooke Park in Vallejo. It was wonderful to get to meet so many people in the Hiddenbrooke neighborhood.
On Saturday April 6th I had the pleasure of volunteering with the SOMIRA as they hosted the Skipper Whipper race near the Vallejo Marina. The team dedicated this race to two of their rowing club members that have sadly passed away since February, Dennis Albright and Dale Robbins. Dale and Dennis were long time rowing teammates that will be greatly missed. SOMIRA took 1st place in the Men's,1st Place in the Master's, 2nd Place in the Women's & 3rd Place in Mixed races.

On April 2nd the Vallejo City Council and their staff held an Appreciation Celebration for the Members of the Boards and Commissions. The 20 members of the Boards and Commissions generously offer their time and guidance on important issues and impactful projects for the City of Vallejo. It has been an honor to serve on the Civil Service Commission and the Marina Advisory Board.
